Theo painted my scarf  and gave it to me for mother's day, I love it!

Theo graduated from pre-k last Wednesday, I can't believe my baby will be in kindergarte in the fall but then again...he is so ready!

so much going on but...

so little time to blog, but I can tell you this, in the last month we have acquired,

2 fish (Flame and Henry)

a king size bed (oh, hello there wonderful night of sleep!)

a new bed for Carter (with 3 space saving drawers, wahoo!)

3 foster kittens (oh yes, you read that right, we got kittens from the Seattle Humane Society that we are taking care of  for a few weeks until they are big enough to get adopted.  Have I mentioned that I don't like cats? but it turns out that I do like kittens!)

a new grill (a major score as I dislike cooking but my husband loves grilling, win, win!)


the month of May was full of many blessing for the Person family, we are thankful for the One who gives just what we need and often times much, much more. Pictures to come of everything because my new bedding is lovely and stripey!

Theo graduates from Pre-K on Wednesday, my heart hurts just a little, he's growing up too fast.  He is off to kindergarten in the fall. I feel like we just had him, and now he is a skate board riding, chalk writing, tree climbing, kayaking, light saber swinging, ball of energy.  We are blessed.

I have been a blogger slacker lately.  The weather is lovely and it makes it hard for me to sit behind the computer.  I have also fallen in love with Instagram (find me: carissalayla) so I post a bunch of pictures on that.

Sounders

I took the kids to a Seattle Sounders game about 2 weeks ago, courtesy of my dear friend Angie.They had a blast.  Carter surprised me, she was really into it, Theo liked it too.

Carter-Lillian is 9!

We celebrated Carter's 9th birthday at the end of April.  We decided not to do a crazy big party like we have in the past but we let her invite 3 friends to a day at the Woodlawn park zoo.  A membership for a year to the zoo was her present (along with some zoo Playmobil I got off Craigslist for only $60, in the boxes!!!!).  We had a great time!  Carter and her cousin Saphyre made the monkey cupcakes. Carter even made her own birthday invites. I seriously love 9 already, my life has never been easier...it's actually a little too easy with these two kids, I need a new challenge or hobby perhaps!
