I'm back...I think.

So, it's been 8 months since my last post. 8 months!  I never did get those perfect little Toms Wedge booties, I just couldn't fork over $80 for something that I don't think will be in style next year, sigh.

Okay so here is the low down on the Persons, this will be in no particular order because quite frankly my brain just can't function that way but here it goes...

Jeremy and I celebrated our 12th anniversary, it turns out we do like each other, a lot.

I started working full-time in February.  It's been a huge adjustment on our family, HUGE.  But, the good news?  I start work at 6am (ouch) and I am home at 2, that means I am here for the kids after school and that makes me very happy, tired but happy.  I am doing visual merchandising and display for JC Penney.  I get to style mannequins and decorate the store, I make it look pretty and it's fun.
Jeremy in his JCP duds, I get a lovely discount and although JC Penney isn't Jeremy's usual cup of tea (hey, he used to be a stylist in NYC, what do you expect?!) he looks pretty stylish to me and no one would know these are JCP clothes!

Both kids finished school and I am a bit alarmed/dismayed that I have a first grader and a 5th grader, make it stop, please.
waiting for the bus on the last day of Kindergarten and 4th grade, notice my coffee and frizzy hair.

First grade magic!

These siblings just happened to each be in each others same class and with a school with over 500 students and several grades for each grade, that is a fun coincidence

I tried to pretend to take up jogging, it lasted 2 days.  Who am I kidding? I work full-time on minimal sleep and still do all the other things that life requires, I. Cannot. Run.

I am starting a fashion/life/Seattle/food/anything we like blog with my co-worker and friend Walter.
We both chatter non-stop at work and like to pretend we are relevant and hip and think that we should share our point of view on life in the Pacific Northwest.  I don't think Kanye and Kim named their precious new baby North West for nothing, it's fun here and we are going to blog about it at
www.pinkwalris.com just as soon as we have some spare time to figure out what we are doing!
Walter and I trying wheat grass shots.

art show night in Seattle

at said art show, very buggy.
This stick bug loved me and I loved it, and the art!
There is so much more that has happened in the last 8 months and I hope that I can get back on track and get blogging again, it is after all a blog of life, my life and there are things I want to remember and what better way than to blog it?

missed you all-
Ris
